Mal-E contains 50% Malic Acid. Malic Acid is a larger molecule than Glycolic or Lactic, so it penetrates slowly and is very effective for sensitive skin types. Because malic acid maintains a pH of <2 as it goes through the skin surface when applied after the salicylic step, it is able to penetrate deeper than glycolic or lactic acid, stimulating cell turnover without excessive exfoliation. Malic Acid reduces problem bacteria, enhances skin hydration and brightening. Best suited for visible ageing, acne and hyperpigmentation.

Malic Acid (50%), Water (Aqua).

Following Sal-E step, decant Mall-E vial in to a dry, clean glass bowl. Set timer for 3 minutes after applying to the forehead with cross hatch technique- increment by 3 minutes on follow up visits if tolerated. You may use a fan to help relieve any discomfort for the client.
